2026 Youth Day Scholarship

The Winters Youth Day Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who demonstrate a genuine commitment to community service and civic engagement. We celebrate students who show leadership, compassion, and initiative in making Winters a stronger community.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
$1,000 awarded to 2 graduating seniors
WHO CAN APPLY?
Applicants must:
• Be a graduating senior from Winters Joint Unified School District
• Plan to enroll in an accredited college, university, or vocational program
• Demonstrate meaningful community service or civic engagement
• Show a commitment to improving their community
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must submit:
• Completed scholarship application
• Two short essays
• Brief description of community service involvement
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or community leader
• Participation in a panel interview
